The perfect addition to older homes with less insulation, this heater's electronic Piezo ignition system offers quick start-ups with one simple step; no matches, batteries or other lighting sources required. Once lit, instant infrared heat directly warms objects in the room, which in turn heats the surrounding air. This unit runs with 99.9-Percent efficiency on your home's Natural Gas fuel supply; costing only pennies an hour. The included flexible connection tube allows for easy connectivity to the fuel source, with minimal adjustments. The built-in thermostat is another ease of use feature. When the room exceeds the set temperature, the burner and blower will shut off; they will cycle back on when the room drops below the set temperature-no need for constant adjustments. Under normal circumstances, this unvented heater should be used as a supplemental heat source. However, if the power goes out or in an emergency situation, the Sure Heat wall heater can be safely used as a primary heat source. This unit is OMNI safety approved and comes with a built-in oxygen-depletion sensor that extinguishes the flame if oxygen levels drop below A.N.S.I. standards.
